Rani Reddy's practice focuses on representing clients in complex commercial litigation in federal court. Rani has experience with a variety of litigation matters including discovery disputes, defending depositions, preparing witnesses for depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and settlement negotiations. She is also part of monitorships teams that independently assess company controls addressing various types of compliance issues.
Rani maintains an active pro bono practice, having represented minority small business owners in constitutional litigation and defense of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims, and immigrant survivors of domestic violence in applications for U Visas.
During her time in law school, Rani represented youth in delinquency and special education proceedings and worked on juvenile justice impact litigation. Rani was an active Moot Court Society member and coached a nationally ranked team in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in Trademark Law. Prior to law school, Rani was a middle school math teacher in Oakland, CA.
