The Baker Botts/Baker Institute - Revolutions in Energy? The Roles of Markets, Technology and Policy

HOUSTON, October 2, 2018  – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, to co-host the second Global Energy Summit with Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy on October 11, 2018. 

“The summit provides a unique opportunity for industry leaders and decision makers to gain insight into changes in the global energy markets along with the advances in technology and evolution of energy policy,” said Steven Miles, Chair of the firm’s Energy Sector Committee and a partner in Baker Botts Washington D.C., office.

Hosted by Baker Botts and the Baker Institute’s Center for Energy Studies, this event is free and open to the public, however registration is required.

Featured keynotes for the program include the nation’s 61st U.S. Secretary of State James A. Baker III, who is the honorary Chair of the Baker Institute and a partner at Baker Botts, and John Gibson, Chairman, Energy Technology, Tudor Pickering Holt.
