John Taladay, Circuit Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg Win 2018 Concurrences Antitrust Writing Award

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 19, 2018 – Baker Botts Antitrust Law Practice co-chair John Taladay and Senior Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Douglas H. Ginsburg, won the Concurrences 2018 Antitrust Writing Awards in the Academic category, Cross Border Issues section.

Mr. Taladay and Mr. Ginsburg received this award in recognition of their article, “Comity’s Enduring Vitality in a Globalized world” in the forthcoming issue of George Mason Law Review 24:5. The article examines some of the sources of tension in the competition ecosystem and the means the agencies now use to address those conflicts. 

Concurrences featured Mr. Taladay and Mr. Ginsburg in a video summarizing the content of their writing.

The annual Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards aim to promote antitrust scholarship. Various committees work to select 10 winning articles out of a total of 600. This year, the results were announced at the Concurrences Awards Gala Dinner on April 10, 2018.
