Eliot Williams Named Top IP Lawyer by Daily Journal

PALO ALTO, April 24, 2018 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm, announced that Intellectual Property partner Eliot Williams was selected by the Daily Journal for its 2018 list of the “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California for a second consecutive year.

The Daily Journal’s annual list of Top IP Lawyers is compiled from hundreds of nominations submitted by lawyers statewide, with the honorees selected by editors based on the impact of their work in intellectual property. 

In a profile on Mr. Williams, Daily Journal noted, “Williams quickly became a leading practitioner before the board and co-chair of Baker Botts’ PTAB practice. He has appeared as counsel in more than 100 PTAB trials, making him one of the top 25 most-experienced PTAB litigators nationwide.”

Mr. Williams has over 15 years of experience as a creative advocate and practical advisor to his Clients. He has extensive experience with disputed Intellectual Property matters, in federal courts throughout the country and in Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent Office. He has testified on patent law before the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives and has taught patent litigation as an adjunct assistant professor of law.
