HubsBaker Botts Lawyers Lead Discussions for ‘Fearless Entrepreneurs: Unstoppable & Extraordinary’

SAN FRANCISCO, March 15, 2018 – Baker Botts California lawyers Cynthia Cole and Stuart Plunkett led discussions at “Fearless Entrepreneurs: Unstoppable & Extraordinary,” on March 8, 2018. Hosted by the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Kellogg School of Management and Northwestern Alumni Association, the first of a four-part series presented a distinguished panel of alumni to provide firsthand guidance on what it means to be a fearless entrepreneur and to harness the power of intuition in times of uncertainty.
“I felt privileged to be part of a panel of women who have accomplished so much and contributed to the rich heritage of entrepreneurship,” said Baker Botts’ Cynthia Cole, a former CEO and General Counsel in public and private companies in a range of sectors. “One theme, in particular, about mentoring struck me: reach out to people who move you, to people from whom you can learn, without being asked, without being part of a formal program. Mentoring happens naturally, not always by design.”
“This was a great opportunity for the audience to hear from business leaders in our community and to share ideas about entrepreneurship and career building,” said firm partner Stuart Plunkett.
