The 69th Annual Oil & Gas Law Conference is taking place from February 15-16, 2018 at the JW Marriot Houston – Galleria. The conference is presented by Institute for Energy Law (IEL) of The Center for American and International Law, an organization that provides educational and professional opportunities for lawyers and other professionals in the energy industry.
Former Secretary of State James A. Baker, III will present “Keynote – The Conservative Case for Carbon Dividends” on Thursday, February 15th. Global Projects associate, Erin Hopkins, will be a moderator for the discussion of “How Private Equity Backed Companies are Driving A&D Trends.” This panel will discuss the trends seen in deals with private-equity sponsored buyers/sellers and the drivers that differentiate PE firms from traditional buyers/sellers.
